Linking documents from Website Storage

 

Steps for linking the document from storage.

  • Click on your website storage page.
  • Upload the document to one of your items or create a new item and upload the document
  • Save

To get the URL for the document

  • Click on Edit to go back into the item
  • Click on documents on the left side of the screen
  • You will now see the name of the document in the center of your page.
  • Point your mouse at the name of the file and do a right click to get a pull down menu
  • Click on copycopy link or copy link address

 

Go to the page you want to link to the document

  • Type the words you want to link the PDF to
  • Highlight what you just typed
  • Click on the chain on the toolbar, Insert Link
  • Paste in the URL
  • Open in new tab
  • Insert
