New Recycling Program Announced

Residential Recycling Program

Curbside Collection: Fargo residents can participate in an all-in-one recycling program, allowing them to place all recyclable materials in a single bin without sorting. Collection occurs every other week on the same day as garbage collection. Residents can check the collection schedule to determine their specific recycling week.

 

Accepted Materials: The program accepts a variety of materials, including plastics (labeled #1-5), paper, and cardboard. However, glass is no longer accepted in curbside recycling as of March 2023. Residents are encouraged to take glass to designated drop-off sites.

 

Drop-off Sites: For those living in apartments or areas without curbside service, Fargo provides multiple drop-off locations for recycling. Residents can find the nearest site through the city’s official website.
