Adding Elements to internal pages

Elements can be added to all internal pages 

All four Elements have been added to my Training Links page   -   https://catalistrainingsite.web.catalisgov.ca/traininglinks

• Alerts – very top of page

o   You can have the Alerts display as a notification or you can choose to have it be a Pop-UP by changing the Alert Type

o   There are three options for the color of the banner, low, medium & high

o   Images can be added to alerts by clicking on image on the left side of the screen         

• Internal image slider – large image at the top of the page

o   If you add an Internal slider, it will replace the stock images

o   Suggested size for internal image slider is 1920 x 275

• Quiklinks- icons, Catalis Portfolio’s, Page created during Training, …

o   On newer design templates you can create a new quick link and pick an icon, older design templates you will need to ask us to create a new icon for you

• Highlights- Bottom of the page, Smart Business Solutions, Target, ….

o   You can decide where you want the highlights to show on the page by going to the promotion and clicking on edit. Placement

 

Steps for adding an Element to one of your internal pages

Sample – Residents page

• Click on Residents
• Add Page
• Choose the element - Quick links
• Suggested name for this quick link would be:   Residents – Quick Links
• Create
• The element will automatically be promoted to the Residents page and will be on
• You then be able to add quick link items
