Advance linking of images from Website Storage

Steps for linking an image from storage

• Click on Website Storage
• Click on Add Basic Item on the right side of the screen
• Give the item a heading
• Click on image and upload your image
• Save
• Turn item on
• Click on Edit to go back into the item
• Click on image on the left side of the screen, you should not see the image in the center of the page and the name of the file on the right side of the image
• Right click on the file name to get a pull-down menu. Depending on the browser the terminology may be different.  Copy link, Copy link location or Copy link address.
• Save

 Go to the page you want the image on

• Place your cursor where you want to insert the image.
• Click on Insert on the toolbar, image
• Paste in the URL
• Alternative Text - describe the image (used for ADA compliance)
  
• Insert

To change the size, you can drag the edges to make it smaller or larger

You can make additional changes by clicking the image

• Pencil Edit
• Change size
• Add Title
• Add Link
• Apply
• Change Alignment
